we are
The Positive Internet Company
Ltd is a group of skilled individuals with years of experience
in providing Internet services. Having worked for others and
been frustrated by their attitudes to customers, we decided
we could do it better ourselves! We have invested in quality
hardware and infrastructure to achieve a capacity and flexibility
beyond that of most other hosts. Because of the technical
knowledge that runs right across the company, we are able
to offer and support a set of packages and services that no-one
else can.
Our
reason for being
The developing character
of this industry is of high-flying assurances and low-crawling
delivery. Vibrant salesmanship gives way to tarnished delivery.
Sparkling promises fade into dull reality once the contract
has been signed. Fly-by-night organisations undercapitalise,
sell services at bargain-basement prices, collapse under the
load and leave their customers stranded. That represents,
increasingly, the character of this industry.
The Positive Internet Company is uncharacteristic. Our desires
go beyond profitability: the company founders have management-level
experience of the corporate world and of the unfortunate contempt
with which customers are often treated. We are tired of companies
proclaiming how "proactive" and "customer facing"
they are, as if enunciating these buzzwords can mask the unfortunate
reality of the corporation's business practices.
We chose the name Positive
Internet Company because we are genuinely enthused by what
the Internet has to offer business and society. We are excited
by what technology enables us to achieve. We wish to channel
this into providing the best hosting and scripting packages
in the industry, and are not prepared to offer a second-class
service. We are determined that our clients will never have
cause to complain because bandwidth is limited or support
mails are left unanswered. Having worked in corporate support,
we are keenly aware that "getting the sale" is nowhere
near sufficient in running a successful company: gaining market
share is one thing; keeping it is another altogether. It is
in this respect that we have an almost obsessive zeal.
